Morning Whitewater Rafting (8:30 AM–12:00 PM)
Duration: 3.5 hours
Launch into the Arkansas River on a half-day guided rafting trip. The Royal Gorge section runs Class III-V rapids through 1,000-foot canyon walls — one of the most dramatic stretches of whitewater in Colorado. All equipment is provided, and professional guides handle the logistics. No experience required, but prepare to get wet.

Lunch at Whitewater Bar & Grill (12:00–1:30 PM)
Duration: 1.5 hours
Walk directly from the rafting takeout to the legendary WhiteWater Bar & Grill on the same campus. Order a BBQ Brisket Sandwich, a half-pound burger, or a plate of wings. Zipline Above the Canyon (2:00–4:30 PM)
Duration: 2.5 hours
Dry off from the morning and head to Royal Gorge Zipline Tours. From this vantage, you see the same canyon you rafted through — but from 1,000 feet above. Multiple course options accommodate different comfort levels. Professional guides manage all safety, and the views are genuinely unforgettable.

Royal Gorge Bridge & Park (5:00–6:30 PM)
Duration: 1.5 hours
Drive 8 miles east to the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park for the third perspective on the canyon — from the world's highest suspension bridge (955 feet above the Arkansas River). Walk across, ride the aerial gondola, and take in the golden-hour light on the canyon walls.

Sunset Drinks at Rooftop Social (7:00 PM)
Duration: 1.5–2 hours
End the perfect day on the rooftop at Whitewater Rooftop Social in downtown Canon City. Craft cocktails, sweeping mountain views, and a relaxed atmosphere make this the ideal landing spot. The 2,000 sq ft patio faces west — watch the sunset paint the Royal Gorge region in amber and gold while you toast the day's adventures.
